Community Spotlight – Anastasia Zolides - The Channel Company
In this Women of the Channel Community Spotlight, Alanna April sits down with Anastasia Zolides, Event Manager at The Channel Company, to explore her journey into the channel and the passion that fuels her work behind the scenes. From her early career in the music industry to finding her place in IT events after an unexpected pivot during the pandemic, Anastasia shares how community, connection, and creating meaningful experiences have shaped her path.
Anastasia opens up about the learning curve of entering the channel without a traditional IT background, navigating new terminology, trends, and audiences while continuously embracing opportunities to learn. She reflects on the similarities between producing live music experiences and channel events—both centered on bringing people together and creating moments that matter.
Throughout the conversation, Anastasia offers thoughtful advice for those starting out or stepping into their next chapter: believe in yourself, build your network, ask for help, and trust your instincts. Her story is a powerful reminder that growth rarely follows a straight line—and that with passion, perseverance, and community support, you can find exactly where you’re meant to be.
