Celebrating the Power of Women: Honoring Our 2025 Women of the Week
By Jacquie Rives, WOTC, Program Director & Community Leader
At Women of the Channel, we believe that leadership is not defined by title alone—it’s defined by impact, authenticity, and the courage to lift others as you rise. Throughout 2025, our Woman of the Week series celebrated exactly that.
Each week, we had the privilege of spotlighting a remarkable woman whose story, leadership journey, and lived experience reminded us why this community matters—and why representation, connection, and visibility continue to be powerful forces for change.
A Year of Stories That Inspired and Connected
The 2025 Women of the Week came from different backgrounds, roles, and stages of life, yet their stories shared common threads: resilience, growth, purpose, and heart.
We heard reflections on:
-
Navigating career pivots and unexpected opportunities
-
Overcoming self-doubt and imposter syndrome
-
Learning to set boundaries and say “no” without guilt
-
Leading with empathy in high-pressure environments
-
Balancing ambition with family, wellness, and joy
These conversations weren’t just interviews—they were moments of connection. They reminded us that leadership doesn’t have one look or one path, and that vulnerability can be just as powerful as confidence.
Leadership Beyond the Resume
What made the 2025 Women of the Week truly special was not just what they’ve accomplished—but how they show up.
These women are:
-
Mentors and sponsors who open doors for others
-
Builders of culture, community, and trust
-
Advocates for inclusion, growth, and shared success
-
Leaders who prioritize people alongside performance
Their impact ripples far beyond their own careers, influencing teams, organizations, families, and communities in meaningful ways.
Why Woman of the Week Matters
The Woman of the Week series is more than a spotlight—it’s a reflection of our mission. By sharing real stories in real voices, we create space for women to feel seen, heard, and valued.
For some, these stories offered reassurance: I’m not alone.
For others, they sparked motivation: If she can do it, maybe I can too.
And for our entire community, they reinforced what we know to be true—when women support women, incredible things happen.
With Gratitude and Pride
To every woman who shared her time, story, and truth as a 2025 Woman of the Week: thank you. Your willingness to be open and authentic has strengthened this community and inspired countless others along the way.
As we look ahead, we carry these stories with us—fueling conversations, shaping leadership, and continuing to build a community where women rise together.
Here’s to the voices, lessons, and leadership of 2025—and to all the women who make Women of the Channel what it is today. 💜
