Stronger Together: The SHEwolf Journey & The Power of Community

When I landed my first job at a reseller in the mid-2000s, I was eager, hungry to learn, and fascinated by the world of technology. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this was an industry largely dominated by men. I remember actively seeking out female mentors—women who could help guide me, offer advice, and help me navigate the challenges that came with being in this space.

As my career evolved, moving from the reseller side to the manufacturer side, I started to see more women-led initiatives emerging. It was wonderful to see it and gave me something to lean on.

Fast forward nearly 20 years, and I now have the privilege of working for an incredible organization, Arctic Wolf. Within Arctic Wolf, the Women Transforming Tech (WTT) group was founded by two amazing women who now co-lead this initiative. WTT focuses on internal efforts, creating a network where women within Arctic Wolf can connect, collaborate, and learn from each other. It is one of the strongest ERG’s I’ve seen; mentorship opportunities, quarterly meetings, coffee connections, weekly discussions, highlighting women, and much more.

In my role on the Partner Marketing team, I frequently cross paths with remarkable women across our partner community. The more I connected with them, the more I recognized a real need—an opportunity to take the sense of community we had built internally and extend it outward.

That’s where SHEwolf was born.

SHEwolf Global Partner Network is an external-facing branch of WTT, designed to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and growth among women—not just within Arctic Wolf, but across our entire global partner ecosystem. I anticipate that our partner network is filled with inspiring, driven women—some looking to share their experiences, others seeking mentorship and guidance. But one thing I did know was that the appetite for this kind of connection was evident; we just needed a way to bring everyone together.

When I first introduced the idea internally, I was met with an immediate and enthusiastic response. Seven incredible women quickly raised their hands, eager to help bring this vision to life. Together, we built a brand, launched a LinkedIn community, and put together our inaugural SHEwolf Panel.

For our first panel, we had five spots available for our partner community and received a great number of nominations from our Arctic Wolf team members. We knew there would be scheduling conflicts or hesitations about participating, so we planned for multiple outreach rounds. However, on a Thursday morning back in November, when I sent an email to five women leaders asking them to join, every single one responded with a yes by the end of the day. That moment validated everything I had felt—this was something truly needed.

These five women, leaders in their respective organizations with immense responsibilities, showed up with full dedication. They attended every prep call, every dry run, and engaged deeply in the process. Watching their commitment and passion unfold was nothing short of inspiring.

On January 22nd, we hosted our inaugural SHEwolf Panel, and nearly 400 people registered. I’ll be honest—seeing that response brought tears to my eyes. It was a moment of realization: SHEwolf was just getting started.

Our first panel discussion focused on Courageous Conversations—how to initiate them, navigate discomfort in the workplace, and the advice these leaders wished they had received earlier in their careers. The session was filled with insights, wisdom, and an engaged audience eager to ask more questions. These conversations are bigger than any one of us. They pave the way for others, setting precedents and creating ripples of impact across our workplaces.

Looking back at my younger self—that eager woman at the reseller, searching for a network like this—I can’t help but feel deeply grateful that SHEwolf now exists. I would have jumped at the chance to be part of something like this back then.

I'm deeply grateful to Arctic Wolf for supporting this initiative and giving it the space to thrive. A heartfelt thank you to Women of the Channel Leadership Network for allowing me to share my story and empowering women to have their voices heard! Here’s to SHEwolves leading the pack, uplifting one another, and continuing to drive meaningful change. We’ve only just begun.
